"I care about what's important to my patients."
Dr. Jeffrey Lee Garrison, who holds a Sports Medicine Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery, is a former professional football player for the National Football League's Pittsburgh Steelers. A past Assistant Instructor at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Dr. Garrison is highly respected as a leader in advanced orthopaedic care.
As a former athlete, Dr. Garrison understands how important it is to return a player back to their sport as fast a possible after injury. He applies this "sports medicine" philosophy to all of his patients in returning them to their desired activity levels. Whether it's an 80 year old who needs a hip replacement and is passionate about her gardening, a 50 year old golfer who requires shoulder treatment, or a 17 year old high school basketball player who needs arthroscopy for a cartilage tear of the knee, its important to adopt a treatment plan that fits the needs of the individual and emphasizes a rapid return to their desired activities.
