Dr. Douglas L. Gamburg has practiced Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Central Louisiana for over twenty years. His background as a collegiate gymnast and triathlete gives him a better understanding of the needs of competitive athletes at all levels. Dr. Gamburg's extensive clinical experience provides a broad knowledge of Orthopaedics and practical approach to patient care.

Dr. Gamburg has had the privilege of providing orthopedic care to the patients of Central Louisiana for over 25 years. He has enjoyed a sense of personal fulfillment and gratification derived from restoring his patients to a productive and active life style. That passion for the practice of orthopedics has not lessened with time. The challenges and benefits of new technology and techniques have strengthened his desire to continue an active musculoskeletal practice.

Timeliness of care is of major concern to Dr. Gamburg. Ready access to treatment and being available to his patients is important to him. Every effort is made to evaluate and treat patients without unnecessary delays. Dr. Gamburg's extensive experience in evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injury and disease enables him to readily assess a patients needs while designing a rational, cost effective treatment plan.

Adult and pediatric orthopedics, sports medicine and industrial injuries have been the core focus of his practice since its inception. Dr. Gamburg's mission is to continue serving the orthopedic needs of his community.
